Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Automation /Manual Tester to join our company operating in the Track & Trace industry, specializing in modern solutions for tracking and identifying products within the supply chain.

As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software solutions.

If you have experience in test automation (C# . NET), backend API testing, web and desktop application testing (Coded UI, Winium, SpecFlow, or similar frameworks), and CI/CD pipeline development, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities :

- Test planning and preparation : Analysing business and technical requirements, creating test scenarios and test cases.

- Manual and automated testing : Executing manual tests for new features and regression testing; designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests using C# .NET (e., with Selenium WebDriver, NUnit/xUnit).

- API testing (backend testing) performing functional and non-functional testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or automated API testing frameworks.

- Web application testing : testing web-based applications, including UI, functionality, and API layers.

- Desktop application testing ensuring desktop applications meet functional and performance requirements, particularly for Windows-based software.

- Automation of desktop testing

Developing and executing automated tests for desktop applications using frameworks such as :

- Coded UI (legacy UI testing framework for .NET applications).

- Winium (UI automation for Windows desktop apps).

- SpecFlow (for BDD test automation).

- WinAppDriver (Windows Application Driver for UI automation).

- White Framework (for testing desktop applications based on WPF/WinForms).

- Bug analysis and reporting : Identifying and documenting defects in a bug tracking system (e., Azure DevOps, JIRA), ensuring their resolution and proper tracking.

- Test Management in Azure DevOps : Managing test cases, test execution, and defect tracking using Azure DevOps Test Plans.

- Database validation and SQL testing : Using SQL Express and writing queries to validate test data and perform backend data integrity testing.

- CI/CD test pipeline development : Creating and maintaining automated test pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Testing on virtualized environments : Working with Azure Virtual Machines for setting up test environments, running tests on different Windows OS versions, and ensuring compatibility.

- Collaboration with the team : Working closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to clarify requirements, discuss issues, and ensure efficient problem resolution.

- Working in different software development methodologies : Experience in Agile, Lean, and Waterfall environments.

- Improving QA processes : Contributing to the enhancement of testing strategies, ensuring proper test coverage (traceability), and proposing automation improvements.

- Test documentation : Preparing test reports, documenting testing procedures, and maintaining test artifacts (e., test plans, test scripts).

- Ensuring quality compliance with Track & Trace industry standards : Verifying that the software meets Track & Trace industry requirements (e., serialization, high-performance tracking of numerous products).

Requirements :

- Professional experience - at least 4 years of experience as a software tester (mid/senior level), including automation testing.

- Test automation with C# .NET : Proficiency in C# programming and experience in building automated tests in the .NET ecosystem (preferably using tools like Selenium WebDriver, MSTest/NUnit/xUnit, SpecFlow).

- Experience in the Track & Trace industry : Previous work with projects related to tracking and identifying products (e., logistics, serialization systems, supply chain monitoring) and understanding domain-specific challenges.

- ISTQB Foundation certification : ISTQB- Certified Tester - Foundation Level certificate confirming knowledge of testing methodologies.

- English proficiency : B2/C1 level (fluent spoken and written communication); the role requires working in an international environment with documentation and meetings in English.

- Testing methodologies knowledge : Solid understanding of testing processes, different test types (functional, integration, regression, performance), and ability to apply test design techniques.

QA tools and technologies :

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test case management and execution.

- Experience with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA).

- Backend API testing : strong experience in testing REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or automated API testing tools.

- Database testing : experience with SQL Express, ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

- Windows OS expertise : experience in configuring and troubleshooting Windows environments for software testing.

- Virtual machines in Azure : ability to set up and manage virtualized test environments in Azure.

- Web application testing : testing of UI and backend for web-based applications.

- Desktop application testing : hands-on experience testing Windows-based desktop applications (must-have requirement).

- Desktop test automation : experience with at least one of the following: Coded UI, Winium, SpecFlow, WinAppDriver, White Framework.

- CI/CD pipeline development : hands-on experience in writing automated test pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).

- Team collaboration skills : excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with developers and business teams, problem-solving mindset, and self-organization.

- Experience with Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies : ability to work in different software development models.

Nice to Have :

- Additional domain experience : knowledge of Track & Trace regulations and serialization standards (e., barcode standards, tracking, serialization of products).

- Advanced testing certifications : ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst) or other QA-related certifications.

- Performance and security testing : experience with performance testing tools (e., JMeter, LoadRunner) or basic security testing knowledge.

- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes - using containers for test environment setup and automation.
