The HV Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing high-voltage systems, troubleshooting technical issues, administering system integrations, and providing technical support to ensure seamless operations. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and safety features for Vitruv Motors' innovative EV light truck.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design & development of Electric Powertrain (HV) components such as Traction Batteries, Motors, contactors, relays, junction boxes, and HV harnesses Define HV architecture and interface requirements between powertrain, BMS, thermal systems, and vehicle control units HV Systems Integration at System & Vehicle Level Prepare system-level DFMEA, DVP&R and validation test plans for HV components, execute DVP and homologation compliance tests Perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis Ensure Compliance with applicable Standards & Regulations Software calibration and control strategy validation for HV system operation Working experience of functional safety regulation Hands on experience on Hybrid/Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, verification and validation. Coordination with other departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities & and performance evaluationOther Qualifications: Proven experience of Battery & Motor Design with ISO 26262 Functional Safety (ASIL C/D systems) Good understanding of vehicle communication networks and diagnostic standards (UDS, ISO 14229) Lead design & development activity with minimal supervision Excellent analytical, communication, and system-thinking skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThis is a great opportunity to be part of the core team to build a winning proposition in India's nascent EV space.
