1. Support COO's Office in Report Preparations/interpretations

  • Compile and format reports required by the COO's office from Japanese to english and vice versa
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of the data presented
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information.
  • Adhere to deadlines and deliver high-quality, professional reports.

2. Coordinate with YRC Japan Plants

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and YRC Japan plants to ensure smooth communication
  • Ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow between the two entities.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise

3. Translation of Monthly Reports and Relevant Documents

  • Translate documents related to Safety, Engineering, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Quality from Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and professionally presented.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

4. Interpretation in Meetings with YRC

  • Provide real-time interpretation during meetings with YRC.
  • Ensure all parties understand the discussions and decisions being made.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between Japanese and English speakers.

5. Support SCM and Other Operational Functions in YRC Meetings

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of Weekly/Monthly follow-up points for YRC plants.
  • Support Supply Chain Management (SCM) and other operational functions by ensuring that action items are tracked and followed up on.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and reports for these meetings.

6. Prepare Minutes of Meetings and Ensure Follow-up

  • Take detailed minutes during meetings.
  • Distribute minutes promptly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and ensure follow-up on action items to ensure they are completed.

7. Assist and Travel with YRC Expats During India Visits

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to YRC expatriates during their visits to India plants and headquarters
  • Accompany expats during their visits to facilitate communication and ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison and interpretation.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate report preparation, translation, and minute-taking.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of Japanese and Indian business cultures to bridge communication gaps.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Qualifications: Preferably masters degree with JLPT N3 level and above cleared
