Detailed Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team, focusing on building and growing communities for the US SMB segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing community-driven product co-creation and driving customer acquisition from 0 to 1 for SMBs with 1 to 50 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Development: Build and nurture online and offline communities for US SMBs, fostering engagement and collaboration.
  • Product Co-creation: Collaborate with community members to gather insights and co-create products tailored to their needs.
  • Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to grow the customer base from 0 to 1, targeting SMB owners.
  • Campaign Management: Design and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions within the SMB segment.
  • Sales Growth: Proven ability to develop and implement community sales growth strategies specifically tailored for SMBs, enhancing their engagement and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the SMB market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer support, to align marketing initiatives with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating and growing communities for SMBs, particularly in the US market and India.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zoho One, FreshWorks, and Intuit, with a deep understanding of SaaS products.
  • Marketing Experience: Must have worked in the marketing department of Zoho One, FreshWorks, or Intuit to acquire organic or paid customers.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence community members.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work across different time zones (India and the US) and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in digital marketing, community management, or related areas.
