Job Summary:

The Technical Lead - Odoo will lead a team of developers, guiding them in the design, development, and implementation of custom Odoo modules and integrations.

You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

This role demands a hands-on approach, a passion for technical excellence, and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Odoo developers, fostering a culture of code quality, best practices, and continuous improvement.

Customization and Development: Design and develop custom Odoo modules, enhancements, and integrations to meet specific client requirements.

This includes understanding business processes and translating them into technical solutions.

System Configuration: Configure and customize Odoo applications, including setting up workflows, user permissions, and other system parameters to optimize performance, functionality, and usability.

Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.

- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Client Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and provide expert guidance on Odoo solutions.

- Build strong client relationships and manage expectations.

Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, module specifications, API documentation, and user manuals.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes, including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Ensure the stability and reliability of Odoo implementations.

Team Mentoring: Mentor and train junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Odoo technology.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Code Review: Perform regular code reviews to maintain code quality, enforce coding standards, and share best practices within the team.

Technical Research: Stay updated with the latest Odoo developments, new features, and industry trends.

Recommend best practices and improvements to enhance the company's Odoo solutions and stay ahead of the curve.

Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Odoo implementations.

- Lead troubleshooting efforts and identify root causes.

Deployment and Maintenance: Oversee the deployment of Odoo solutions and provide ongoing maintenance and support to clients.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role (minimum [Number] years).

- Extensive experience in Odoo development, including custom module creation, API integration, and system configuration.

- Deep understanding of Odoo architecture, framework, and best practices.

- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of developers.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Odoo certifications are a plus
