Looking for a Freelance Embedded Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 10+ yrs. of experience.There are multiple openings. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q4 2025.Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain embedded applications usingConLinuxplatforms. Implement and manage build systems usingCMAKE . Integrate and optimize communication protocols such asMQTT ,MODBUS , andJSON-based APIs . Work onJWTauthentication and security implementation for IoT/connected systems. Collaborate with hardware and system engineering teams to design solutions forEnergy, EV, Solar, or Battery managementapplications. Debug, optimize, and maintain code for performance and reliability. Document design specifications, code, and test plans.Required Skills & Experience: 10+ yearsof experience in embedded systems/software development. Strong proficiency inC programmingonLinux . Experience withCMAKEbuild systems. Hands-on experience withMQTT ,MODBUS ,JSON , andJWT . Solid understanding ofIoT communication protocols . Domain knowledge inEnergy, EV, Solar, or Battery management systems . Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good to Have: Exposure toRTOS ,edge computing , orIoT gateway development . Familiarity withPythonorshell scriptingfor automation/testing.
