About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist / ML Engineer with proven expertise in forecasting, predictive modelling, customer segmentation, and price optimization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail sector, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy forecasting models to predict business trends, sales, and demand patterns.

- Perform customer segmentation using clustering and other advanced analytics techniques to support targeted marketing and personalization strategies.

- Implement price optimization models to maximize revenue and profitability.

- Analyze retail sector data to derive actionable insights and improve decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into business workflows.

- Work with Azure Machine Learning and other Azure services to manage, train, and deploy models.

- Monitor and refine ML models for improved accuracy and performance over time.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.

- Strong experience in time series forecasting and predictive analytics.

- Proven track record in customer segmentation and price optimization.

- Domain expertise in the retail sector preferred.

- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and related Azure services.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
