About the Role :

We are looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in Java, AWS, and distributed systems within the FinTech domain. The role focuses on building high-performance, compliance-ready services that handle sensitive financial data at scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain microservices with a focus on performance and security.

- Develop batch processing pipelines ensuring data integrity.

- Work with AWS services like EC2, Kinesis, RDS, and Step Functions.

- Troubleshoot production issues with a focus on minimizing customer impact.

- Contribute to compliance and regulatory reporting by building tooling and analytics.

- Collaborate with QA, product managers, and cross-functional teams.

- Conduct architecture reviews and propose improvements for scalability.

- Participate in recruiting and onboarding engineering talent.

Technical Expertise Required :

- Programming: Java (6+ years), plus another backend language.

- Cloud: AWS (RDS, EC2, Step Functions, Kinesis).

- Databases: MySQL, Cassandra, Hadoop.

- Testing: Unit, integration, end-to-end testing.

- Domain Knowledge: Payments and FinTech domain (mandatory).

- Security: Authentication, Authorization, compliance-driven development.

Soft Skills :

- Strong ownership and accountability.

- Problem-solving mindset with compliance awareness.

- Ability to work with global and distributed teams.
