Job Title : Software Engineer (FinTech)Experience : 6+ YearsLocation : BangaloreAbout the Role :We are looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in Java, AWS, and distributed systems within the FinTech domain. The role focuses on building high-performance, compliance-ready services that handle sensitive financial data at scale.Day-to-Day Responsibilities :- Build and maintain microservices with a focus on performance and security.- Develop batch processing pipelines ensuring data integrity.- Work with AWS services like EC2, Kinesis, RDS, and Step Functions.- Troubleshoot production issues with a focus on minimizing customer impact.- Contribute to compliance and regulatory reporting by building tooling and analytics.- Collaborate with QA, product managers, and cross-functional teams.- Conduct architecture reviews and propose improvements for scalability.- Participate in recruiting and onboarding engineering talent.Technical Expertise Required :- Programming: Java (6+ years), plus another backend language.- Cloud: AWS (RDS, EC2, Step Functions, Kinesis).- Databases: MySQL, Cassandra, Hadoop.- Testing: Unit, integration, end-to-end testing.- Domain Knowledge: Payments and FinTech domain (mandatory).- Security: Authentication, Authorization, compliance-driven development.Soft Skills :- Strong ownership and accountability.- Problem-solving mindset with compliance awareness.- Ability to work with global and distributed teams.Why This Role is Important :- This role supports financial transactions and regulatory compliance.
