Collaborate with founders, product, marketing, and video teams to translate complex tech/ SaaS concepts into compelling narratives. Craft scripts for multiple formats: short-form social clips, long-form YouTube videos, event presentations, and product storytelling. Ensure all scripts align with Emergent’s brand voice, tone, and storytelling style. Research industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor content to create relevant, differentiated narratives. Partner with video editors and designers to ensure scripts translate seamlessly into final visuals. Edit and iterate scripts based on feedback while maintaining clarity, flow, and creativity. Experiment with different content styles—educational, conversational, inspirational—to maximize engagement across platforms.What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of professional scriptwriting experience, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or tech-driven environments. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical or abstract concepts into relatable narratives. Proven experience writing for video, audio, or multimedia content. Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone. Ability to adapt writing style for different formats and audiences (founder-led content, social, product-focused, etc.). Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced teams.Good to Have Experience scripting for thought leadership or executive branding. Familiarity with video production processes and how scripts translate to visuals. Understanding of the creator economy, SaaS, or AI/ML trends. Experience working in high-growth startups or creative agencies.Let’s build the future of software together.
