Over the past ten years, our dedication has shaped Alankaram into a name synonymous with excellence, attracting high-profile clientele like Ranbir Kapoor, & Alia Bhatt, corporations like Microsoft, Google, & Netflix.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Product Designer (Accessories) with a strong background in designing lifestyle and furniture accessories such as lamps, handles, mirrors, décor objects, and complementary pieces. The candidate will play a key role in expanding Alankaram’s design portfolio beyond core furniture, helping us strengthen our offering to architects, hospitality professionals, and high-end residential clients.Key Responsibilities- Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative home decor accessories and lifestyle products aligned with Alankaram’s design language. - Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings for prototyping and production. - Collaborate with the in-house design and production teams to ensure feasibility, material efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Research global design trends, materials, and finishes to keep the accessory line competitive and fresh. - Oversee sampling, testing, and refinement of prototypes before final approval. - Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to create collections suitable for premium retail and hospitality projects. - Maintain design consistency and quality across all accessory lines.Requirements- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in product or accessory design (preferably in furniture/luxury décor). - Strong portfolio showcasing accessory design (lighting, mirrors, décor items, handles, etc.). - Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or SolidWorks, plus rendering software (KeyShot, V-Ray, etc.). - Knowledge of materials (wood, metal, glass, fabric, composites) and manufacturing techniques. - Ability to balance creativity with functionality and production feasibility. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Degree in Industrial Design / Product Design / Furniture Design from a recognized institute.What We Offer- Opportunity to work with one of India’s most recognized premium solid-wood furniture brands. - Creative freedom to shape and expand a new accessory design vertical. - Exposure to high-end residential, hospitality, and architectural projects in India and abroad. - A collaborative environment with in-house manufacturing capabilities for rapid prototyping and innovation.To Apply:Send your portfolio and CV to hr@alankaram.in with the subject line Application – Product Designer (Accessories).
