We are a high-performance training facility that specialize in the application of functional movement, strength and conditioning to optimize health, performance and overall quality of life. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about coaching and who bring positivity and energy to our team.

 

General Position Description

The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for designing and executing training programs for all types of members at High 5 Performance. He/she may also be involved in motivating, educating and guiding athletes about rest, recovery and proper nutrition strategies to help them achieve their goals to the best of their ability.

 

Role and Responsibilities

•      Design and implement strength training programs for all members in a manner that reflects research driven practices

•      Conduct fitness assessments and training sessions in a semi-private setting

•      Maintain member records and files in an organized manner

•      Facilitate a collaborative relationship among sport coaches, sports nutritionist, and the strength and conditioning staff

•      Maintain a personal health and fitness lifestyle consistently

 

Required Qualifications

•      Must hold at least one of the following certifications

o  Certified Personal Trainer from ACE (American Council of Exercise)

o  CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association

o  ASCA Level 1/ Level 2

•      Current CPR/ AED/ BLS certification

•      At least 1 year of strength and conditioning experience

•      Working knowledge and teaching skills in techniques of strength training

 

Additional Skills

•      Excellent communication skills and customer service

•      Fluency in English

•      Basic computer skills – MS Excel & Word
