As we continue to grow, we remain committed to transforming global trade for SMEs worldwide.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Commodity Risk Manager – Metals to lead our risk management strategy for base metals including aluminium, copper, and zinc. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of global metal markets and expertise in deploying derivatives such as LME futures, forwards, and options to mitigate price exposure. This role is critical to aligning our sourcing strategies with market conditions and ensuring pricing stability for our customers and partners.Job Responsibilities:- Develop and execute hedging strategies for base metals using tools such as LME futures, forwards, and options - Monitor global metal markets and macroeconomic indicators to proactively manage pricing risk - Coordinate with procurement, sales, and treasury teams to ensure hedging aligns with sourcing strategies, customer pricing models, and cash flow requirements - Oversee daily P&L reporting, monitor margin requirements, and maintain trade records in compliance with internal risk governance - Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, banks, and trading counter parties to gain market insights, execute trades, and assess liquidity - Contribute to the design of internal systems and reporting tools to support real-time risk management and trade decision-making - Provide internal stakeholders with market intelligence, forecasts, and scenario analysis for budgeting and strategic planningRequired Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
