Roles and Responsibilities


This is a full-time role for a Mechanical BIM Modeler at ME Engineers. As a Mechanical BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for using Building Information Modelling (BIM) to create and modify mechanical system models.


You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and precise construction drawings and models. This role is in Chennai and requires on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise mechanical models in Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project BIM Execution Plan.
  • Must have knowledge of Revit modelling for all Mechanical HVAC & and Plumbing services i.e., loads, static pressure, fixture calculation etc. and family creation.
  • Integrate mechanical design information into the BIM model,
  • Preparation of HAP/TRACE load calculations (Value added).
  • Work with both customer-provided and in-house drawings.
  • Generate plan sections, detailed drawings, spread sheets, bill of materials, hanger lists, Total Station files, and more.
  • Collaborate with other trades, attend coordination meetings, and produce necessary reports.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving clashes in coordination models.
  • Develop detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate and prepare as-built models and drawings for record-keeping.

  • B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Department
  • Good communication
  • 3+years’ experience
  • Might have Western Country Project and Gulf Country Project experience.
