Onward Technologies is seeking a talented VB.Net Software Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore, India.

We are a leading software outsourcing company specializing in Digital and ER&D services, with a global presence and a focus on Mechanical Engineering solutions.

About the Role :

As a VB.Net Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality software applications for our clients in the Transportation & Mobility, Industrial Equipment & Heavy Machinery, and Healthcare & Lifesciences sectors.

You will leverage your experience in VB.Net, VB6, and SQL to design, develop, test, and debug applications while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using VB.Net and VB6, adhering to best coding practices and design principles.

- Utilize VB6 and ActiveX controls to build robust and functional software solutions.

- Participate in the design phase of projects, providing valuable input on architecture, user interface (UI), and functionality.

- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software products.

- Conduct thorough unit testing to identify and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring the smooth operation of applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in VB.Net and related technologies.

- Maintain clear and concise documentation for developed software components.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- 4 to 6 years of experience in application development using VB6 and ActiveX controls.

- Strong proficiency in VB.Net, VB6, and SQL with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Experience in designing user interfaces for desktop applications.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Must be eligible to work full-time in India (Work from office in Bangalore)
