Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fraud detection models using Python and machine learning techniques.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify fraudulent patterns and trends.
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning algorithms to improve fraud detection accuracy.
  • Build and optimize rule-based fraud detection systems.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to derive insights.
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, and risk teams to develop scalable fraud prevention solutions.
  • Develop real-time fraud monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest fraud tactics and prevention methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in fraud analytics, data science, or risk management .
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques for fraud detection.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data processing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database querying for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, or similar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with risk and fraud analysis in industries such as fintech, banking, or e-commerce.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
