Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and optimize robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support analytics and business reporting needs.- Leverage Advanced SQL skills for efficient data querying, transformation, performance tuning, and optimization.- Build and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging native services and tools.- Architect and implement scalable Data Warehousing (DWH) solutions for storing and analyzing large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.- Integrate data from ERP systems such as SAP and other enterprise platforms into centralized repositories.- Perform comprehensive data discovery, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality, trust, and compliance.- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and ensure adherence to data engineering best Skills & Experience : - 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Modeling roles, with at least 5+ years in the Banking/Financial Services domain.- Expert-level proficiency in SQL complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization (Rating : 10/10).- Strong hands-on expertise in data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical schema design.- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).- Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses for enterprise-scale analytics.- Familiarity with ERP data structures (e.g., SAP) and integrating ERP data into centralized data platforms.- High attention to data accuracy, governance, and validation standards.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced to Have : - Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)- Exposure to data governance frameworks and tools- Prior experience working in Agile teams (ref:hirist.tech)
