Job Description :


We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our team. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions. You will play a key role in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to meet business requirements.

- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexing strategies, and database configurations.

- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption techniques, and backup strategies.

- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.

- Perform data modelling and database design tasks to support new application features and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SQL developers, including code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing sessions.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to database management systems and SQL development tools.

Desired Skills :

- Proven experience as a SQL developer with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.

- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or similar relational database systems.

- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

- Experience with database design principles, data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio), and normalization/de-normalization techniques.

- Proficiency in database administration tasks, including backups, restores, replication, and security management.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are a plus.
