Job Description :

- Design, develop and execute test cases for data pipelines and transformations using GCP native tools.

- Perform regression and UAT testing and maintain test documentation for future reference.

- Experience interacting with business stakeholders to understand data-related use cases and translating requirements into technical test cases.

- Ability to do end to end testing for ETL jobs, identify issues and inform development team to resolve the issues.

- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases and track them to resolution.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools ex: JIRA and expertise in Excel.

- Execute and document test results in Excel spreadsheets.

- Log, track and retest defects using tools like JIRA and maintaining status logs in Excel.

- Create summary reports using Excel pivot tables and charts to present test coverage, defect trends, and results.

- Expertise or Proficient in writing SQL queries.

- Validate data integrity between source systems and BigQuery.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze business requirements and collaborate with developers, data engineers and business analysts to define test strategies.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews and stand-ups in an Agile/Scrum environment.
