Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site team leader role in Ahmedabad for US Accounting. The Junior Staff Accountant- US Accounting will be responsible for working with CPA firms and managing their client accounting, bookkeeping, financial review and statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily/weekly/Monthly bookkeeping and record-keeping
- Bank/Credit Card reconciliations and verification
- Sales tax filings and compliance
- Payroll processing, reconciliation and filings, including W-2, 941 and 940 forms
- 1099 processing and reporting
- Financial Review and analysis
- Clean Up work and data entry
- Research on new topics and industry developments
Qualifications:
- Experience of working with US CPA firms is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in US accounting and finance
- QuickBooks Certification is required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to review and analyze financial statements
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
