SAP Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP HANA Consultant to join our growing IT team in Bengaluru.
In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and maintaining business-critical applications using ABAP on the SAP HANA platform.
You will work closely with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business requirements into efficient and optimized ABAP Design, develop, and maintain complex ABAP programs for various SAP modules
- Utilize strong ABAP skills to create and customize ALV reports for data analysis
- Implement User Exits to modify standard SAP functionality
- Develop and maintain interfaces using BAPI and IDoc technologies
- Leverage Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for efficient code development
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand user requirements
- Document code clearly and concisely for future reference
- Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ABAP advancements and SAP HANA 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on ABAP HANA
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality and efficient ABAP code
- In-depth knowledge of ABAP syntax, data structures, and control flow statements
- Expertise in creating and customizing ALV reports for data analysis
- Proficiency in implementing User Exits to extend standard SAP functionality
- Solid understanding of BAPI and IDoc interfaces for data exchange
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP HANA development, including ABAP CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and Native SQL
- Knowledge of Web Dynpro or SAP UI5 for developing user interfaces
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager for change management and transport processes
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- SAP ABAP certification (e.g., PLM, CECM) is a plus
