Position Overview :

As the CTO of Bonhoeffer Machines, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the technological vision of the company. You will lead the engineering and technology teams, drive research and development efforts, and ensure that our product portfolio evolves with the latest technological advancements. Your leadership will be critical in aligning our technological initiatives with business objectives to propel growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the long-term technology strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Lead technology-driven innovation to improve product offerings and operational efficiency.

- Research & Development : Oversee the R&D team, ensuring the development of innovative, reliable, and efficient machinery solutions. Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

- Team Leadership & Development : Manage and mentor technology and engineering teams, building a strong technical workforce. Encourage professional development and foster an environment of collaboration.

- Technology Integration : Implement and oversee the integration of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, IoT, and automation within Bonhoeffer's machinery and operations.

- Collaboration with Other Departments : Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Sales to ensure the alignment of technology solutions with customer requirements and market trends.

- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for technological improvements in manufacturing processes and supply chain management to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Cybersecurity and Data Protection : Oversee the security of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that our machinery and systems meet industry standards for cybersecurity and data protection.

- Budget Management : Manage technology-related budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet both short- and long-term business needs.

- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends : Monitor trends in the machinery and manufacturing industry, identifying new technologies that could impact the business, and positioning Bonhoeffer Machines as a leader in technological innovation.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. or other advanced technical certifications is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in technology leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the manufacturing or industrial machinery sector.

- Proven track record of leading teams to develop and implement innovative products and technologies.

- Experience managing large-scale projects, technology integration, and product development in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Skills :

- Strong knowledge of machinery design, automation, robotics, and industrial IoT.

- Expertise in technology strategy, innovation, and R&D management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data management, and emerging technologies.

Language :

- Python, JavaScript, Java

- Proficiency in NLP tools and framework

Preferred :

- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies like 3D printing, AI, and machine learning in an industrial context.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in industrial machinery.
