Job Title: Java Developer – Manhattan WMS & MicroservicesLocation: [Specify location or Remote/Hybrid]Employment Type: Full-time / ContractRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that integrate with Manhattan WMS, ensuring robust supply chain solutions and high-performance systems.Key Responsibilities- Application Development: Design and implement Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and J2EE. - Manhattan WMS Integration: Configure, customize, and maintain Manhattan WMS (Active platform, WMOS, SCI, MAWM). - System Interfaces: Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and other enterprise systems (ERP, TMS) using XML, EDI, and APIs. - Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize WMS and microservices performance. - Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; support CI/CD pipelines. - Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, warehouse operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Documentation: Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, and SOPs.Required Skills & Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Frameworks (MVC, Boot, Batch), and Hibernate. - Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful Web Services, and SOAP. - Experience with Manhattan WMS (Active platform, MOCA scripting, SCI). - Knowledge of SQL/Oracle, JMS/Messaging (Kafka, IBM MQ), and API integration. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), version control (Git), and Agile methodologies. - Preferred:Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and OpenShift. - Understanding of Design Patterns and performance tuning.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.Nice-to-Have- Experience with Warehouse Automation, Supply Chain IT, and ERP integration. - Knowledge of Manhattan Active Omni or related modules.
