Own the entire sales lifecycle from lead identification and nurturing, to proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.- Collaborate with delivery teams for effort estimates, Solutioning, and documentation.- Maintain and report a robust sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and meet quarterly revenue targets.- Create high-impact, customized proposals on Upwork and other marketplaces, increasing bid-to-win ratio.- Manage online profiles (e.g., Upwork, Clutch, GoodFirms) and ensure consistent engagement and visibility.- Optimize bidding strategies based on marketplace trends and buyer behavior.- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients across various regions.- Conduct consultative sales calls and follow-ups to understand project scopes, budgets, and timelines.- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.- Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, pricing benchmarks, and evolving customer needs.- Share insights with internal teams for product/service refinement and go-to-market 4+ years of business development experience in the IT services industry (custom software, mobile/web apps, ERP/CRM).- Strong understanding of Zoho ecosystem and Odoo ERP (both functional and sales perspectives).- Proven experience working with clients across US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Pan-Pacific, and Africa.- Align software solutions with client needs in industries such as: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI).- Insurance & InsurTech, Healthcare & Telemedicine,Logistics & Supply Chain.- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client business objectives to propose tailored solutions.- Proficient in CRM and sales management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive).
