Job responsibilities:-

The Dean of Pharmacy holds a senior leadership role in the Department of Pharmacy, overseeing academic, administrative, and strategic functions. Here are some key responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership:

- Overseeing curriculum development and ensuring it aligns with current trends in pharmacy practice and research.- Ensuring that faculty members are delivering high-quality education and mentoring students effectively.

2. Faculty and Staff Management:

- Managing staff and ensuring that faculty members have the resources and support they need for teaching and research.- Promoting professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.

3. Research Oversight:

- Encouraging and facilitating research activities in the field of pharmacy, both in terms of clinical practice and pharmaceutical sciences.- Managing research funding and promoting partnerships with industry, governmental agencies, and academic institutions.

4. Student Affairs:

- Overseeing student support services, and career development programs.- Ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education, including both classroom and practical experience (e.g., internships and rotations).- Addressing student concerns and maintaining a positive academic environment.
