About the Role :


Are you ready to take your career to the next level with an exciting, fast-growing company? Our client is seeking a talented Data Scientist with experience in online gaming to help optimize customer engagement and increase lifetime value (LTV).

You'll focus on analysing behavioural and purchasing data to uncover key insights, develop predictive models, and create actionable strategies to reduce churn and drive promotions that lead to higher LTV.

Responsibilities :


- Analyse large datasets to discover key behavioural and purchasing insights, identifying patterns that drive user retention and LTV optimization.

- Build predictive models to reduce customer churn, identify at-risk users early, and implement retention strategies.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create data-driven campaigns that boost user activity and maximize LTV.

- Analyze and optimize promotions and rewards tailored to user preferences and behaviors.

- Track player journeys and identify patterns that correlate with long-term engagement and high-value users.

- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor user behavior, campaign performance, and key KPIs.

- Perform cohort analysis and segmentation to better understand user behavior and lifetime value drivers.

- Automate data collection, reporting, and analysis processes for performance tracking and continuous improvement.

- Provide actionable insights to product teams to inform feature development and customer experience improvements.

- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, integration, and scalability of data pipelines.

Qualifications :


- Experience in Online Gaming : Proven experience in the online gaming industry, analyzing customer behavior, LTV, and churn.

- Analytical Expertise : Strong background in data analytics, statistics, and machine learning techniques.

- Experience using tools like SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms.

- LTV & Churn : Experience developing and deploying predictive models that focus on LTV optimization and churn reduction strategies.

- Promotions & Segmentation : Expertise in designing and analyzing promotions, campaigns, and personalized offers based on data insights.

- Behavioral Analysis : Ability to analyze user behavior and journeys to find opportunities for retention and monetization improvements.

- Collaboration : Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate data insights into business strategies.

- Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in data reporting and analysis.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into understandable takeaways for stakeholders.
