Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly skilled Tuner to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radio systems, embedded systems, and software development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing tuner algorithms for various radio technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement tuner algorithms for AM/FM, DAB, SDARS, DRM, or IBOC radio systems.

- Optimize tuner performance across diverse operating conditions and RF environments.

- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless tuner integration and optimal performance.

- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of tuner functionality and performance metrics.

- Proactively analyze and troubleshoot tuner-related issues, proposing effective solutions.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in tuner technologies and industry trends.

- Contribute to the development of comprehensive tuner specifications and requirements.

Qualifications :

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering.

- 3-12 years of hands-on experience in tuner development or related fields.

- Expert proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages.

- In-depth understanding of RTOS and OS (Linux/Android) environments.

- Strong foundation in embedded hardware, including adeptness in datasheet and schematic interpretation.

- Proven experience with RF tools such as signal generators and audio precision analyzers.

- Demonstrated track record of success with one or more tuner technologies (AM/FM, DAB, SDARS, DRM, IBOC).

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with design tools like Rhapsody or Vision is preferred.

- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with multiple tuner technologies.

- In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and techniques.

- Experience with RF circuit design and analysis.
