Greetings from Tata Consultancy ServicesRole : Senior Software Developer – ServiceNowExp: 8-12 YearsLocation: BangaloreKey Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow Portal experiences for end users, balancing performance, accessibility, and platform best practices. - Develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions using ServiceNow technologies, including Employee Center Pro. - Collaborate with product teams, architects, and engineering leads to ensure cross-platform alignment and technical excellence. - Provide Tier 3 engineering support, ensuring platform health, stability, and supportability. - Act as a peer group leader, ensuring team delivery aligns with platform standards and processes. - Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and inquiries. - Drive UI/UX decisions that meet business requirements and accessibility standards. - Understand the implications of design decisions across interconnected systems.Basic Qualifications- Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering or development, with at least 5 years on the ServiceNow platform. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal technologies, including Employee Center Pro. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, REST, XML, HTML, and CSS. - Deep understanding of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best practices. - Demonstrated experience leading small teams and delivering business outcomes. - Strong communication, writing, and executive presentation skills. - Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, ICP-ACC).Preferred Qualifications- Experience with multiple platforms and integrations. - Advanced certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified Systems Administrator, Certified Application Developer). - Additional training in agile, product management, or software engineering. - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA.Education- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. - Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
