Position: Subtitling Specialist (SVOD)Location: Hyderabad (500081) or Mumbai(400051)Start Date: ASAPDuration: 6+ monthsWork Days: Wednesday–SundayHours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST Job DescriptionSubtitling Specialist, SVODAbout the roleIn the role of Subtitling Specialist on the Subtitling Operations team, you will report to the Manager of Subtitling Operations.About the roleAs a Subtitling Specialist on the Subtitling Operations team, you will manage the delivery & transformation of existing subs for our streaming platform.You will be a vital communication bridge between our Content Operations teams and our internal subtitling & dubbing teams at Crunchyroll. You will contribute your understanding of subtitle specs & style guides, as well as your experience in localization workflows across streaming, theatrical, digital transactional & home entertainment distribution to ensure that, no matter where our audience consumes our subtitles, they are best-in-class.Core Areas of Responsibility- Monitor subtitle delivery tasks during weekend hours (Wed–Sun).- Monitor incoming materials from translators & licensors and vendors.- Follow up with teams if subs have not come in on schedule.- Check that files have ingested into Polaris and triage file naming and or technical issues with COPs & TMT if ingest fails.
