Job Position (Title): Performance Lead/architect

Job Type: Permanent

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Bangalore

Technical Skill Requirements: JMeter, APM tools such Datadog, Kafka, and Any cloud.


Role and Responsibilities

Establish testing as an integral part of the development process within cross-functional teams. Develop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with our development teams.

Proactively suggest improvements in testing tools for better test coverage for automation. Detect and report defects and close follow-up to ensure closure of issues.

Assess and bring continuous improvements to the overall quality

Work closely with the development team to debug any issue

Participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders

Contribute to POC on the upcoming toolsets

Conduct Root cause analysis for the production defects and improve test assets

Work on refactoring the existing framework as per the requirement.


Required Skills

  • Minimum 7+ Years of Relevant Experience in Performance Test Engineer.
  • Expertise in Performance Testing using JMeter (Blaze meter).
  • Experience with APM tools such Datadog, Charles Proxy, Fiddler etc. and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk etc. across Windows and UNIX platforms, AWS Cloud & Kubernetes.
  • Experience executing and analysing a variety of performance tests, such as Baseline, Load, Capacity, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and other non-functional tests, is preferred.
  • Experience in creating test plans and estimating the resources required to complete the testing. Also having expertise in analyzing test results and generating performance reports [NFR’s].
  • Strong technical background in performance tuning and optimization of enterprise applications, distributed systems, middleware, and SQL and no-SQL databases.
  • Understanding of micro-services and horizontally scaling architecture and container-based applications and software Development cycle with automated build-test pipelines
  • Developing an automation framework with a major focus on modularity, performance, scalability, and future expansion
  • Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problems in the application.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA), source control systems (e.g. GIT, Bitbucket), and build management tools (e.g. Maven, Bamboo, JENKINS).
  • Should know SQL/MySQL queries.
  • Good communication skills and Analytical skills.
