Parrot child development centre is founded on the mission of holistic therapeutic services with multi-disciplinary approach. We are committed to provide excellent continuity of service to very vulnerable young people for whom drastic change.

Each child has a treatment plan based on an assessment of his/ her needs, in which parental view are considered to be an important part of the process. This plan is reviewed and updated every month by multi-disciplinary team along with the parent/ caregiver of the child. We follow a broad and therapeutic curriculum and developmental programmes, including psychiatry, clinical psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior modification therapy, special education training, clinical, music therapy, drama therapy, play therapy, yoga etc.,


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Occupational Therapist at Parrot Child Development Centre located in Kozhikode. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, emotional, mental, and social needs and developing individualized treatment plans to help them achieve independence in their daily lives.


Qualifications

  • Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
