● Manage and optimize vulnerability management platforms (Wiz, Qualys) to identify, assess,

and remediate security risks.

● Configure and maintain Cloudflare for security, performance, and resilience, including WAF,

DDoS protection, and bot management.

● Conduct security threat analysis by investigating vulnerabilities, emerging threats, and attack

vectors.

● Perform risk assessments and recommend security enhancements to mitigate potential cyber

threats.

● Work closely with DevOps, SecOps, and IT teams to implement security best practices across

cloud and application environments.

● Develop and maintain security dashboards and reports to track remediation progress and risk

posture.

● Respond to security incidents, analyzing root causes and proposing proactive

countermeasures.

● Stay up to date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security engineering.

● Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Wiz, Qualys, Tenable, or

similar.

● Strong knowledge of CDN security (preferably Cloudflare) and web application security

principles.

● Experience in threat intelligence, log analysis, and security monitoring.

● Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes,

Docker).

● Understanding of network security, firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection, and IAM best practices.

● Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and security analysis.

● Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2 is a plus.

● Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or

equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms for security event analysis.

● Knowledge of application security (AppSec) and DevSecOps methodologies.

● Familiarity with zero trust security models and cloud-native security solutions.
