Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP HANA Senior Consultant located in Navi Mumbai. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing consulting services, analyzing business processes, integrating master data, and ensuring smooth operations of SAP HANA. They will also be involved in creating innovative solutions and driving business transformation through the use of SAP HANA technology.


Responsibilities

  • Engagement delivery, including techno-functional analysis, data analysis, solution design, and end-to-end implementation management.
  • Solution Architect in the field of SAP MDG and configuration of master data for MDG C/V/M/F scope.
  • Responsible for SAP solutions implementation, conducting FIT-GAP workshops, system configurations, test preparation, user training, support for the master data team and data migration, post go-live support.
  • Knowledge & exposure on Data Quality remediation procedure & analysts.
  • Experience in Master Data Consolidation.
  • Process design, configuration, and assistance with testing.
  • Making solution recommendations considering scope and client requirements.
  • Preparation of Business blueprint document as per the requirement.
  • Preparation of functional specifications and ensuring delivery of objects as per the timelines.
  • Creation of configuration documents and training documents.
  • Configuration of SAP MDG solution as per functional specification.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.
  • Advice and support for the definition of Data Standards across Master Data Objects.
  • Execution of data model enhancements, Functional validation, and assistance in BRF & UI enhancements.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Data Management specializing in Master Data Governance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in diverse functional and technical aspects of SAP MDG projects, adhering to industry best practices, encompassing Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling, Business Validation (Rules Modeling, Derivations, and Data Replication Framework - DRF).
  • Thorough understanding of the SAP MDG technical framework, including BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDoc, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, Fiori, and MDG API framework.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP data dictionary tables, views, relationships, and corresponding data architecture for ECC and S/4 HANA, encompassing various SAP master and transactional data entities, with exceptional functional expertise in core master data objects such as customer, vendor, and material.
  • Practical experience in configuring customer, vendor, and product/material master data in MDG, including data harmonization involving de-duplication, mass changes, and data replication, incorporating Key/Value mapping, SOA Web services, ALE/IDoc.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with customers and partners, understanding specific Enterprise Data needs proficiently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas in technical, business, and user-friendly language effectively.
  • Keenness to acquire new knowledge, adapt to, and contribute to fast-paced innovation.
  • Implementation experience of SAP MDG in key domains such as Customer, Supplier, Material, and Business Partners.
  • Experience in SAP MDG mass processing, consolidation, and central governance.
  • Thorough understanding of Data Migration concepts and strategies.
  • Experience in data migration using SAP and non-SAP solutions.
