We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team on a C2C basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Snowflake, Python, and data preparation for BI projects, with strong skills in data modeling, integration, and cloud platforms. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with BI teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Snowflake and Python-based data solutions.

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational data.

- Build and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for high-performance data processing and analytics.

- Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL processes, data ingestion (Snowpipe & others), and real-time data sharing.

- Leverage Snowflake features such as time travel, data sharing, and performance optimization.

- Utilize Python / PySpark for advanced data transformations and automation.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) to deliver scalable data solutions.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance throughout data workflows.

- Support business development by contributing to proposals and client presentations.

- Lead, mentor, and collaborate in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 710 years of professional experience, with :

- 6+ years of hands-on Snowflake and Python experience.

- 5+ years in data preparation for BI projects.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data ingestion methods, and performance tuning.

- Proficient in Python/PySpark with advanced programming capabilities.

- Hands-on experience with ETL design, data integration, and data modeling.

- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.

- Ability to adapt to changing environments, manage ambiguity, and multitask effectively.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in client-facing roles and business development.

- Exposure to data governance and security frameworks.
