RKW team is seeking a highly motivated professional with a passion for business and P&L Management. Our mission is to delight customers by working with vendors to offer the best selection, pricing and delivery convenience across a wide range of products. Vendor Manager will be responsible for driving both the top and bottom-line metrics for specific vendors in a category. To deliver results, this person will own strategic vendor relationships, expand product selection, negotiate vendor terms, partner with marketing teams to drive traffic, and work with operations and instock to guarantee product availability.

Key job responsibilities:

- Full P&L responsibility, including planning, forecasting and driving growth for his/her set of vendors.

- Proven record of driving strategic vendor negotiations and delivering outsized results. Comfortable representing RKW when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors.

- Skilled communicator in working with external stakeholders like vendors and marketplaces, as well as with internal groups such as instock, legal, finance, operations and marketing teams deliver innovation and a better customer experience.

- Strong in cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs

- Adept at identifying industry trends that are relevant to customer selection and experience.

- Drive high impact projects at category level

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2 to 5 years of account management, vendor management, or retail experience

- Master's degree (preferably MBA)

- Experience with vendor/brand negotiations

- Experience driving cross-team collaboration

- Proficiency in Excel, Proven analytical skills and highly numerate

- The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization
