Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Specialist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling government tenders and navigating the GeM portal.
This role involves managing and coordinating all activities related to government tenders and GeM procurement, - ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maximizing business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- GeM Portal Management: Efficiently manage the company's profile on the GeM portal, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with government requirements.
- Tender Identification: Identify and analyze government tenders relevant to the company's products and services.
- Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit bids for government tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted within deadlines.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines related to government procurement and the GeM portal.
- Vendor Registration: Handle vendor registration processes on the GeM portal, including document submission and verification.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with government officials and procurement officers to enhance business opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on government procurement policies, trends, and opportunities.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on tender status, bid success rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Training: Provide training and support to internal teams on the use of the GeM portal and government tender Bachelor's masters degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling government tenders and working with the GeM portal.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement and ERP software
