Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Symfony Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using PHP and Symfony. Candidates with Shopware 6 experience will be given preference. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony framework.
  • Work closely with the development team to implement new features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth performance across all platforms.
  • Maintain documentation for development processes, coding standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on Symfony framework.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs using Symfony.
  • Solid knowledge of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture and its implementation in Symfony applications.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL query optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in eCommerce platforms and systems.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
