Job Title: Principal Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview :

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable backend solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services and systems.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our backend infrastructure.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
• Identify and address technical debt, and advocate for best practices in software development.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into our projects as appropriate.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in backend development with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar.
• Extensive experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message brokers.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and leading engineering teams.
