Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL and data validation processes.- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across ETL workflows.- Develop and maintain automation scripts using frameworks such as TestNG, Selenium, and SoapUI.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and continuous quality validation.- Utilize qTest or similar test management tools to document test cases, execution results, and defects.- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts in an Agile environment to ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Identify, log, and track defects; participate in triage meetings and work towards resolution.- Monitor code quality, unit test coverage, and security vulnerabilities.- Leverage Databricks or Azure cloud platforms for data processing and Skills & Qualifications : - 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on database and ETL testing.- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.- Strong SQL expertise (minimum 3 years) and excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, Selenium, or SoapUI.- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integration of automated tests.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Strong understanding of cloud technologies Databricks or Azure preferred.- Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or Shell).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong collaboration Skills : - Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipeline concepts.- Exposure to data warehousing and big data environments.- Experience using test management tools such as qTest, Jira, or Zephyr.- Understanding of software development best practices and QA metrics.
