We have the role of Manager-Audit for Chennai location with us.


Details of role:


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, demonstrating expertise in risk management, compliance, and financial auditing. The Audit Manager will be responsible for audit deliverables, developing audit strategies, and ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.


Must have statutory audit experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and formulate appropriate audit strategies.
  • Lead and manage Statutory and Group audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and assess risks and develop recommendations for mitigating them.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management and the audit committee.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and report on the status of audit issues and corrective actions.
  • Quarterly Financial statements console and stand-alone
  • Knowledge of Overseas accounting and Inter-company reconciliation.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Implement improvements to the audit process and methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the audit team.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and compliance.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Team Management:

  • Interaction with the stakeholders and response to audit queries within the TAT.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Charted Accountant (CA)
  • 3-8 years of experience in internal or external auditing,
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
