This role is ideal for someone passionate about the construction industry and eager to grow their career with an industry leader.About the RoleA short paragraph summarizing the key role responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesReview architectural plans and prepare quantity needs. Estimate the quantity and costs of materials, labor, and construction equipment. Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities and other relevant details. Negotiate contracts and pricing with contractors and suppliers. Track changes to designs and adjust budget projections accordingly. Monitor and keep track of progress and contract compliance. Conduct site visits to ensure construction complies with the initial specifications and industry standards. Manage and process payments and invoices. Assess potential risks and work on mitigating them. Report on financial status and make forecasts for project completion.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.Required SkillsStrong understanding of construction costs and contracts. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements. Detail-oriented and deeply organized. Adept in MS Office and Quantity Surveying software. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience- 8-10 years preferred.
