2. PAUT / TOFD Inspector Job Description We are seeking a skilledPAUT/TOFD Inspectorto perform advanced ultrasonic inspections on offshore oil & gas fabrication projects. The role involves executing inspections onmodular structures , interpreting results, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform PAUT and TOFD inspections on structural welds, piping welds, and critical joints. Set up equipment, calibrate probes, and prepare scanning plans as per approved procedures. Interpret scan data and prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports. Follow project ITPs, WPS/PQR requirements, and NDT procedures strictly. Coordinate with production, QC, and client inspectors for weld clearances and inspection approvals. Identify defects, highlight potential welding issues, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain equipment, consumables, and ensure proper documentation and traceability. Required Qualifications & Skills NDT Level II or III inPAUT & TOFD(ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712). 4–10 years experience inoffshore oil & gas fabrication yard NDT inspections . Strong experience inmodular structures, topsides, jackets, bridges, flare booms, or heavy offshore fabrications . Ability to interpret drawings, weld maps, and NDT plans. Good knowledge of acceptance criteria as per ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO standards.
