OutSystem Architect

Job Description

- The OutSystems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing high-performance OutSystems applications.

- This role requires a strong understanding of software development and architecture principles, as well as experience with the OutSystems low-code platform.

- The OutSystems Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design and Development:

- Design and develop scalable, high-quality OutSystems applications.

- Ensure alignment of solutions with business and technical requirements.

- Create and maintain architectural documentation and best practices.

Technical Leadership:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

- Work closely with project managers to define project scope and timelines.

- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Innovation and Improvement:

- Stay updated on OutSystems platform updates and industry trends.

- Continuously improve the development process and enhance system performance.

- Lead initiatives to integrate new technologies and tools into the development process.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the quality and performance of delivered applications through rigorous testing and optimization.

Implement and monitor automated testing processes where applicable.

Support and Maintenance:

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing OutSystems applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

- Monitor system performance and implement necessary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

- Proven experience as an OutSystems Architect or in a similar role.

- Extensive experience in software development, with a strong understanding of architecture and design principles.

- Hands-on experience with the OutSystems platform, including version control, deployment, and environment management.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Skills :

- Strong proficiency in OutSystems development and architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of database management and integration OutSystems certifications (e.G, OutSystems Professional Developer, OutSystems Architect) are highly desirable
