This role is instrumental in supporting large-scale development initiatives aligned with India's inclusive growth agenda. The focus areas include Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Employment, Women & Child Welfare, Housing, Financial & Social Inclusion, Livelihoods, and Social Protection.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage infrastructure projects with a strong focus on financial management, monitoring, and reporting.- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing protocols, and computerized financial systems. - Utilize advanced tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.- Work extensively with Public Financial Management Systems (PFMS) and other government financial procedures.- Provide insights on statutory and tax regulations, internal controls, and banking arrangements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Required Qualifications & Experience:- 10-15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project management and financial oversight.- Educational background in MBA (Finance), M.Com, or Chartered Accountancy (CA).- Proficiency in financial software, electronic spreadsheets, and word processing tools.- Strong understanding of government financial systems and procedures.- PMP Certification is mandatory.Why Choose KPMG?At KPMG India, we believe in creating impact that matters - for our clients, our people, and our communities.
