Work Location: Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai Experience: 8+ years Max CTC : 20 LPA Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Primary Skills: Core Oracle DBA, RAC, Dataguard, Performance Tuning & Shell Scripting Secondary Skills: DB2 LUW DBAInterested candidates share the resume to prabhu.v@atos.netKey Responsibilities:Primary – Oracle DBA: Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c/21c environments in production and non-production.Set up and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions usingOracle RACandData Guard .Conduct in-depthperformance tuning ,SQL optimization , anddatabase health checks .Manage backup/recovery strategies usingRMAN ,Data Pump , and custom scripts.Automate administrative tasks and operational procedures usingShell scripting ,PL/SQL , orPython .Implement and enforce security standards and policies across environments.Plan and execute patching and version upgrades with minimal downtime.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs or support staff.Secondary – DB2 DBA: Performinstallation, maintenance, and patchingof DB2 databases (LUW or z/OS).Support performance tuning, database monitoring, and capacity planning in DB2 environments.Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot DB2-related issues.Assist in backup/restore operations, and database scripting.Required Skills & Experience: 8–10 years of total experience in database administration.Minimum6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle DBAin production environments.Minimum2+ years of hands-on DB2 DBA experience(LUW ).Deep knowledge of Oracle internals, ASM, RMAN, AWR/ASH reports, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and database cloning.Strong command over scripting (Shell, Python, or PL/SQL) for automation.Working knowledge of DB2 command-line tools, performance tuning, and monitoring utilities.Proven ability to support large-scale enterprise database environments.Good understanding of ITIL processes and change management.Preferred Qualifications:Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)– a strong plus. IBM DB2 Certification– preferred.Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure Database for Oracle/DB2).Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Ability to manage priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
