Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for a Tabla Teacher at WinQuest Online. The Tabla Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, education, communication, teaching, and training related to the Tabla instrument.We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tabla Teacher to join our music faculty. The ideal candidate should have expertise in playing and teaching Tabla, a strong understanding of Indian classical rhythms (Taal), and the ability to train students of various age groups and skill levels.Key Responsibilities:

Teach Tabla to students ranging from beginners to advanced levels.Develop lesson plans and structured courses based on students' skill levels.Introduce students to various Taals, compositions, and techniques.Provide guidance on hand positioning, strokes, and improvisation.Train students for performances, competitions, and examinations.Incorporate both theoretical and practical aspects of Tabla playing.Maintain students' progress records and provide feedback for improvement.Collaborate with other music teachers for ensemble and fusion performances.Ensure a positive and encouraging learning environment.Stay updated with modern teaching techniques and new developments in percussion music.Requirements:

Proficiency in Tabla playing, with a strong foundation in Indian Classical music.Minimum (Specify Years) of experience in teaching Tabla.Knowledge of different Taals like Teentaal, Jhaptaal, Dadra, Keherwa, Rupak, etc.Ability to teach both practical and theoretical aspects of Tabla.Good communication skills and patience to work with students of all ages.Formal training or certification in Tabla (preferred but not mandatory).Experience in accompanying vocalists, instrumentalists, and dancers (preferred).Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Music (Tabla) from a recognized institution.Experience in online and offline teaching methods.Ability to integrate technology into music education.
