We have an urgent opening for Manufacturing Head role with one of the top pharmaceutical company based at their manufacturing facility. Details are as mentioned below:


Role overview- The Head of Manufacturing for Biotech API will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations within the facility. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production of biopharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The position demands a deep understanding of biotech manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the manufacturing team to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards (FDA, EMA, etc.).
  • Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement among the manufacturing staff.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure alignment of goals and efficient product transitions.
  • Manage budgeting and financial performance for the manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.


Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering
