The role involves building end-to-end cloud data solutions supporting analytics, BI, and AI workloads, while ensuring data quality, security, and performance.Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. - Develop ETL/ELT workflows from multiple sources (APIs, databases, SaaS, data lakes). - Implement data modeling (star, snowflake, data vault) and real-time streaming via Event Hubs / Kafka / Stream Analytics. - Ensure data governance, lineage, and security using Azure Purview, AAD, and RBAC. - Use Terraform / Bicep / ARM templates for IaC and CI/CD automation via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Optimize Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) for cost and performance. - Collaborate with data scientists, BI, and product teams; mentor junior engineers.Mandatory Skills✔ Core Azure Services:Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Azure Functions / Logic Apps, Azure Event Hubs / Stream Analytics✔ Programming & Tools:Python / Scala, SQL (T-SQL, Spark SQL, Synapse SQL), PySpark, Git, CI/CD, DevOps best practices✔ Data Architecture & Modeling:Data warehouse & lakehouse design, dimensional modeling, partitioning, indexing, query optimization✔ Other Technical Areas:- API-based data ingestion, REST integrations, cost optimization, performance tuning in AzureSoft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Proven collaboration in cross-functional agile teams. - Self-driven with passion for cloud and data technologies.
