Job Description :

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on development experience, strong command over Golang, and deep technical understanding of Linux OS, networking, and streaming technologies. You will be a key contributor in building scalable, performant backend systems that support our media and content delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).

- Implement microservices-based architectures with a focus on performance and scalability.

- Work with Linux environments, managing memory, daemons, file systems, and shell scripting.

- Configure and optimize web servers such as nginx, Apache, and load balancers.

- Integrate and support streaming technologies including MPEG-TS, HLS, and DASH.

- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and manage services efficiently.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex software systems with strong analytical skills.

- Work with relational databases, and maintain clean version control using Git.

- Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and performance optimizations.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.

- Proficiency in Golang.

- Strong understanding of Linux OS internals and command-line operations.

- Experience with proxy servers, load balancing, and web server configurations.

- Familiarity with AV codecs, adaptive streaming, and content delivery systems.

- Good understanding of computer networking fundamentals.

- Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of Core Java or Python.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with API performance testing or video streaming performance testing.

- Familiarity with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
