Job Title: Senior Developer – Kubernetes & OpenShiftExperience: 7–10 YearsLocation: Pune (Hybrid)Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing microservices-based applications in a cloud-native environment. The role requires a strong background in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP).Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms. - Implement containerization best practices using Docker and Helm charts. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Monitor and optimize cluster performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. - Manage service mesh, networking, and security policies within Kubernetes environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, scaling, and orchestration issues. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. - Stay updated with container orchestration trends and open-source technologies.Required Skills & Experience:- 7–10 years of total IT experience with strong hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift. - Proficiency in Docker, Helm, YAML scripting, and container lifecycle management. - Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, Operators, CRDs, and APIs. - Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Exposure to cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. - Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go preferred). - Understanding of microservices architecture, API gateways, and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). - Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Good to Have:- Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux). - Familiarity with security and compliance in container environments. - Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno).
