Job Description :


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in a leading product-based e-commerce company. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality e-commerce products. Key Responsibilities :

1. Quality Assurance :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of e-commerce applications.

2. Test Automation :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

- Use automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) to execute automated tests.

3. Bug Identification and Reporting :

- Identify, document, and track defects through the entire lifecycle using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.

4. Collaboration :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure they are met.

- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to provide quality insights and feedback.

5. Performance Testing :

- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the scalability and stability of e-commerce platforms.

- Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.

6. Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in quality assurance.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.

7. Documentation :

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

- Create and update QA-related documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.

Requirements :

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on e-commerce platforms or product-based companies.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

- Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.

- Diversity: Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Preferred :

- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce).

- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
